Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Guessing this photo was taken at a race in 1963. The 63 Impala coupe in the foreground still has the window sticker and was driven to the race with no license plate. Perhaps a dealership employee took it for a day at the races. Lots of 63 model cars in the photo. I count seven full size 63 Chevys, a 63 Corvette split window coupe, a 63 Falcon Sprint, a 63 T-bird, two 63 Cadillacs, a 63 Dodge Polara hardtop, a 63 Pontiac Bonneville convertible, a 63 Ford Fairlane, three 63 Galaxies including one convertible, I believe both of the Studebaker Larks in the photo are 63s, and of the four Corvairs in the photo, my guess is that at least two are either 62s or 63s. Theres a Lincoln thats also either a 62 or 63.

 

Looks like the ‘63 Vette has a window sticker too. Great photo. Quite a variety of ‘63’s.

There’s also a nice ‘63 300 convertible next to the Corvairs as well. Man I would have loved to walk that lot.

 

It's seems like a sketchy proposition, one that may be inclined to induce considerable damage. And yet I still love it.

 

My make a great rig for travels of the Fury? Think about it.

Last thing I need right now is another RV that takes up space I don't have!

 

This appears to be a last day of work celebration on a Ford assembly line for the autoworker with his hand on the driver's door.
