And because I'm sure one or two of you may want to stop by for a visit, we are freshing the guest room. At the moment most of the rooms are very neutral and boring which is actually what you do when you are selling a house, so we are adding a bit of personality. Hubby made a little peek hole in the chimney bump out wall to see what shape the bricks was in, it was great so down came the walls, some more personality added. The room isn't finished yet but here is what we have so far.
What great rooms. The house looks lovely. Congratulations Fannie. It will be a lovely home. Keep us posted!
It does sort of look like a locker, If i remember I'll open it and get a picture of the inside. But it is to nice to go to the barn. The paint in the guest room is called Evergreen. It is a recycled paint by Boomerang
Having lived in Washington State, "The Evergreen State," a good chunk of my life, I can attest that that green is very close to the needle color on Pine trees.
Sounds like hubby has most of Fannie's parts piled insider so she is just about ready to make the move. I'm hoping we can move her next Friday, Sept. 23. I'm off work that day and would be able to follow them. But it is up to Hubby's friend and when he has the time to go.
It is a beautiful colour, it makes a room feel rich and warm. We used it in the den in our previous house and always got positive comments from guests. Your house renos look great, you two are talented at making changes that suit the house and I suspect your personalities as well. My wife is like that, I just nod and smile and do what she suggests (most of the time).
Hubby does that too. You are both very wise men. I keep telling him to put in his two cents, but he says he likes what I do so he just stays out of the way.
Just going on second anniversary and already follow this wisdom religiously. Super excited for you in the new home!
