I have a car in mind for the "classic taste" end of things, which will be my summer ride. A friend of mine has a 77 LTD Country Squire, hideaway lights, 8track, and oddly enough, manual windows. With a 460/auto for 1,000 and in pretty good shape. Need to get my other cars gone first though. I am going to be buying my dad's 2000 crown vic interceptor in the meantime until I can get my hands on the Roadie. Thanks for the links! I really like the Caprice, am curious how clean she is close up though. And I have looked at a Roadie similar to that one locally for 2,000. I haven't ruled that option out either, wagon guy though I am!
You should see how he revives classics. We have a maestro in our midst. I'll warn you now. You need a drool towel or you'll get a jolt from the keyboard. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4318
