Something I find interesting about all of the High School photos is how often people in them aren't smiling. It seems that in some photos with multiple subjects one will be beaming at the camera and the other will have a blank look on their face. I am sure that whomever took the photos would have taken more than one, and would have had a number to chose from when they developed the film. I would also have thought that the photographer would have done a better job of instructing the subjects to smile for the camera. I can only imagine the process of taking the photos and then going through them and then having to pick the best one to turn into an advertisement (which took a considerable amount of time and material back then) to distribute and/or display only to have some one looking so disinterested.
The photographer was likely sorting out the images, in a way that would have put higher priority on how the cars were presented. People change, while aging. Cars don't, if certain measures are taken
