    My dear, Speedee's been long-gone. He didn't even show up at the retro restaurants, like the one five miles South of me, near the Boeing 747 plant, when the corporation built those.

    Enjoy looking at these old photos and so grateful that someone took the time to take them and now post them. I grew up in the suburbs of Baltimore in the 50s - 60s. Two of the Colts, Alan Ameche and Gino Marchetti, had burger restaurants around the city. Went to them many times. Ginos even nad people on skates deliver your order. Did I ever think to take a photo ? Of course not.

    There are plenty of places now, and unless you're a New Disciple of King Ludd and your flip phone dates from the early days of digital cellular, you have a camera at the ready, so go ahead, get the pictures you can get now.

    You are right - Here is an old ice cream stand still standing in the Naples area of FL. Decades old, surrounded by a shopping center, but saved.
