Yup. Back at that time, nearly all vehicles were shipped by rail. That particular boxcar was a type that the Chesapeake & Ohio used normally for shipping autos, but could be reconfigured for larger vehicles like this pumper, because it has end doors. Nearly all auto box cars were only loadable through the double side doors using jacks and rollers.
That was just an educated guess. I can't quite tell what the emblem is. Looks like it will require some research.
That tractor, it looks like a Mack. But whether it was put together by LaFrance or not, I don't know.
