I think that’s Yates-Stevens in St.Louis (Kirkwood) Missouri. Don’t see anything newer than a ‘69. That Torino has a door ding. Looks like the white is showing through on the front door.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The large building-side billboard reads, “60,000 Friends Welcome You To Sioux Falls, The Meeting Place For the Northwest – Chamber of Commerce 2nd Floor Of This Bldg.”

Funny how South Dakota was once considered the "Northwest"

New freeway being built in L.A.... If that's from 1959, it's a good chance that it's the Santa Monica (10) Freeway being built.

 

One way to confirm it: the mortuary sign in the background. "MAL" or "MAE" are the first three letters on the first name.

 

Found it. Malinow and Silverman Mortuary.

 

So, Marshall, you pigeonholed it!
