DuPont Factory located in Kinston, North Carolina.
The facility was constructed during World War II and began operations in 1943. Seventy-six years later and after two recent expansions the factory is still in use and is producing Sorona, a modern polymer that replaces nylon used in carpeting and clothing.

She resembles my paternal grandma. I don't know if my paternal grandparents ever had a station wagon, though, and they always had used cars.

The Dodge is a 63. Our familty had a 4 dr sedan that I learned to drive on. Push button transmission and a slant 6. Remember it as a roomy, nice riding car that to my memory never broke down. Never warmed up to that front end design tho.

Yep. So it was a 10 year old car at the time the photo was taken.

Neither have I. 64 was better, but I prefer the Plymouth front end. I know I am biased, but I think it's the best looking of the bunch for those years of Dodge/Plymouth.

Can’t mistake those ‘71 Ford’s. Wonder what kind of wagon that is next to the Galaxie. Thought it was a Ford, but it looks like it’s got a bumper cut out. Maybe it’s a bumper sticker. Sure looks like a ‘71-‘72 big Ford.

Beautiful seeing this. I've been through that tunnel plenty of times (sometimes in the right lane when I should have been in the left to go across the bridge,) thanks.

With that guy and the Nova parked on the apron he looks like some authority type.

This looks like the spot where that authoritative person was last seen standing:
