Oh, I wish I had pics. No, my Granada's long gone, and when I did own it, cell phones didn't yet have cameras. But I'll google images, see if I can find one similar.

This is almost exactly like mine, but different wheel covers. If you look through the windshield, you can see the interior color, which was a match to mine also.

Edit: found an interior pic of this car; the biggest difference is that mine had buckets with no console, whereas this one looks to have a 60/40 split bench:

This color combo was common across the Ford/Mercury/Lincoln line in the '70' and through to the mid-80's. Even the show "The Greatest American Hero," had a late '70's CS in these colors.

Sounds like the U S. Eyesore voters take up about 30% of the voters.

Green was not just popular with Ford/Mercury. We had a 78 Plymouth Volare wagon. Dark green metallic paint, green interior with the contact paper woodgrain. The 318 and transmission were solid and the green interior looked very nice. So tired of the bland interior colors offered in many new cars.

You asked for opinions. Don't be surprised when people give them. I for one just don't like very many cars from the 70's. Part of it is just the stigma of crappy performance and quality of the time. Add on to that the big bumpers as they were trying to figure out how to deal with new regulations. It just wasn't good. Why do you care what somebody else thinks though? It's your car. If you like it then great! Do what you want with it and enjoy it. I don't really give a hoot what other people think about my cars.

I dont care what others think about my cars. I did this poll for fun. I dont care if they think its ugly. I was just making a joke to interact with others on this post.

She might not like the idea of you wrapping her in woodgrain vinyl, though ;)
