I knew it was to easy when I found it! :)
ADDCO was about the only one I found that didn't say "Not for wagons".

Stickman, something I keep meaning to ask about.
One of my first posts was concerning the removal of my luggage rack/airfoil. The feeling was that it keeps fumes from comming in the back window. That makes sense to be but, seeing your's is removed, I was wondering if you have had this expierience?
I also really like the cross member work your wife did to allow for duals. That's been a head scratcher wondering if something else would work till I saw yours.

I can't say if it helps. But I know that I can't run with the window down. Even if the fumes weren't bad you would not believe the heat that I get if the window is down. For some reason my car has a ton of underbody heat. Of course it could be how low it is now. The G-Body rear springs really brought the back end down. To use my jack I have to take the pad off to get it under the frame rail. And boy does it look good. BTW providing I am well tomorrow I should have an update on atleast my car and maybe Twig's as well.

Well I finally put my Rocket Racing valve covers on. They are way heavy though which I hate but they do look good. They will probably go on the wife's car when we get an Olds engine for her car. Do mind the fact that they are all spotted, and the plug wires are all over the place. I took the pics after my carb fire.

What are the valve covers made of? Cast aluminum? If your into bling I would guess they could be polished.

Yes they are cast aluminum. They are slightly polished but spotted due to water bein thrown on them to put the fire out.

Well I am bored and my carb won't be done till monday so I figured why not get something done. SO I worked on getting some of the paint off of my aluminum hood. Take a look and judge for yourselves.
To bad I am light sensitive so I couldn't drive with it stripped. It would probably blind anyone. Now this hood is 5 foot by 5 1/2 foot but is seriously lightweight. As are the hinges. These I will leave polished

When My car is running again I think I'll throw the hood on and see what she weighs.

    Looking good!
aluminium needs a special primer, correct?
Any scoop planned? I love the looks of that bat wing air cleaner but it seems you'd do better picking up some cold and fresh for outside. At least snorkle it.
I've decided against my Qjet. My son is a teacher at a trade college and the high performance teacher there is trying to fix me up with a Holly that is suitable for the 307. He hates the Qjets.
Seems to be that or damn near cult support for them.
I've also picked up an early edition HEI distributor wo/cc.
The kids also gave me a set of '90 Caddy tail lights for my Bday. I LOVE the Volvo wagon look so I'll probably put them in the C pillars.

Bob I do think it needs a special primer or something added to the paint and primer. I will look into it when I get to that point. The Batwing looked great but the Q-jet didn't like it so I am running an open element at the moment. But once I relocate the battery I will be doing a full cold air system. My Q-jet is getting repaired just not quick enough for me. I hate not being able to have it for the weekend. But not that I have the Edelbrock off I can prep it so I can send it off to have bungs welded on and injectors and fuel rails installed for EFI. I am presently going to be running a Holley Street Dominator so we will see how that works. While I was in the garage i was contemplating tail light options.

Well Christmas came early this year for me. My new swaybars arrived today. They are made by Hellwig and the front bar is from the catalog but the rear bar is a custom bend based of the old Herb Adams design but is special for the B-Body wagons. The front bar is 1 5/16th and the rear bar is 1 1/2 inches. Here are some comparison pics of the bars that were on it and the new ones. These are the rears.

And I had to install them right away. Here are some shots of the rear while it was still up in the air.

    Fantastic!
You said they are both Hellwig but the front is the only catalog item?
Where did you find the rear?
