My Daughter and her Family gave me this cool cutting board for my kitchen. The cars are my 3 current drivers. IMG_3870.JPG

It's been a while since I posted here and also been a while since I gave my Waygun some attention.
Although I moved her around, she did not see any road time and the engine and clutch both need rebuilding and replacement respectively.
2017 I was focused on the completion of my other car 1968 Chrysler Newport and 2018 did some major road trips in it.
2018 also saw me sell my home and finally get the divorce out of the way.

Very happy now that life can move on including working on the Waygun.
For Christmas I treated myself to buying all the necessary parts she needs.
    -new clutch
-new bushings for front K frame
    -new RV cam,lifter,
    -Cloyes double roller timing chain
-360 heads going on the 318
    -new rear leaf springs
She is in storage until the end of February or early March and be road ready by April.

Congratulations. Sometimes you need to just work things out. Sounds like 2019 is gonna be a good year for you. Good luck on your Waygun!

So, what I have done to my wagon. Well the water pump went on the 96 LT 1. So, time to replace the Optispark as well. Great they don't make the AC Delco replacement any more. So, off to Summit Racing for an MSD Optispark. Oh, I have the tow package with mechanical fan. The tensioner should be replaced because the bearing wears out. Oh, they don't make that anymore. Got a used one off Ebay and will replace the bearings. (Tensioner 10186118) Lot's of old vacuum hoses upgrades. Runs like a champ now. New plugs and wires as well. It's a challenge finding parts however I like my land yacht and will continue to upgrade it. Be safe everyone.

The engineers that invented Opti-Spark can bite my shiny metal @$$, as DIS was available at that time, and they could've set up a V8 DIS setup, but I guess they had to validate themselves and their phoney-baloney jobs.

I have always had a vintage car. I had the 62 Vette (look in the "Garage") when I married her. I have bought and sold three other vintage Vettes before I got the Wagon. Now I'm down to two Vettes, the Wagon and a 86 Landcruiser. But I always get a "Sunday, go to meeting" car for her, so she's happy. She doesn't work on them but has a good eye and ear.

Just had the miles of vacuum hoses replaced as the car was stuttering in idle. They used plastic lines and they are very brittle!

Pulled the 390 because it was leaking oil and went through it. Just needed new gaskets and Edelbroch manifold properly installed. Replaced radiator with aluminum and electric fan, rebuilt power steering, New MSD ignition, water pump. And added under dash AC.

Happy to sure any lessons learned or parts I used.

Spring is in the air, the snow is melting so it a bit better to work outside. Hubby has taken Lil'Sis's dash apart to have the heater core looked at...might mean a new one?

Got to 61 degrees here today. Was up early driving to a project to touch up some window graphics for a 100 year old barber shop. On the way home I shot a couple pics of the wagon.
With the sun out I had washed off the 5 months of road grime and put the boards back on the roof.
    Love this time of year!
