My truck wouldn’t start this morning. Getting plenty of gas. Pulled a plug and checked for spark. All good there. I pulled the distributor cap and all the points and button were majorly corroded. Soooo, still a little confused about the sudden no start situation a took the parts to Oreilly to replace when the clerk tells me I outta replace the sensor underneath the button too. Forget what he called it. Bingo, that makes sense in why it all the sudden stopped starting. Got it all put back together and the truck runs smooth. I had to check the RPMs sitting in traffic to make sure it was still running. Buuuut, the real reason for this post is for all of those who mock my full size Chevy with a 4.3, 6 cylinder motor. It’s all about leg room baby!!! 06C9365A-DD98-482A-924F-4310228E8857.jpeg

El Paso Buick distributor and sales agency with Jake Erlich, the “World’s Tallest Man,” accompanied by two female models; he may have been a salesman at the distributorship at the time. Late-1928 at El Paso, Texas.

Unfortunately those 8 Footers don’t tend to live very long. 1906-1952.

Hey Poison Ivy. I think I saw that last photo at a car show. She was checking the tire pressure on her Husbands Lark.

I supposer, if Bill Clinton were to see that photo and read your comment, he would still choose trading places with that guy, if he had the chance, thinking it would be better to live a short intense life, rather than a lengthy safe one

Well brother Clinton has hardly been a wallflower. No pun intended (Jennifer Flowers) I would almost argue he’s lived a long rather intense life. I think you’re right though. I bet he’d be 8 foot if he had the chance.
