    In that pic with the Sunoco sign, you see the white T-bird convertible? It's from the James Bond movie "Goldfinger:"



    Incidentally, this scene has my favorite tune from the soundtrack album.

    Here's another from this past weekend.
    We went to the little farm town of Tieton for there annual festival. I had forgotten this old service station was right across from the town square.

    It's in sad shape now, but it still has the original look. The little town has a bunch of older architecture. It would be neat to see this place restored and re purposed.

    Agreed. That particular building should get converted into something usefull, instead of having it continue serving time wasters

    Well, it is currently empty. The service bays had plastic hung, and it looks like there is some sort of renovation about to begin.

    Interesting roof. Did they fill up aircraft also?
    That's a roller bearing he's holding up. The cartoon shows a pre-'55 vehicle. My '56 Chevy had ball bearings. If that cartoon is chronologically accurate, then my Chevy was technologically inferior to perhaps brands less advanced than Packards were?
