Wow. That’s extremely noble of that fella. Honesty goes a long way. So here’s me being honest...i might have “Bruced” you, backed out and taken the higher dollar! Great pictures of the falcon. I love a good before/after shot. Although mine usually look better in the “before” shots. It’s hearing things like that and seeing things like that falcon that give me hope for the rest of us bozos out here! Hallelujah! Amen! Sorry model t,:slap: i think that was religious speak? Or at least that’s what grandma used to say after that first sip of scotch. I think she was praying?! The cursing came later:huh:

    Congratulations on starting page seven.
The chicks in my high school are either grandmas, by now, or aging spinsters. But, I doubt any of them know anything about good scotch, unless any of them married Scotts and then moved there, thereafter. That would be a good reason to make friends with them, if it wasn't already the case in high school

Yes, but I was sitting in the outhouse. I don't remember much after that until I woke up in a corner bar in Missori.

We still visit kids I went to grade school and later on when my GF (wife) went to high school. All of those people are great grandparents and look old. I can't believe we went to school with such old people.

Best man, best wife, my wife and Don's '56 T-Bird

I’m gonna keep the pages coming! I had a revelation last night. I think...while looking around at different cars i realized a little more of what I want. I don’t want just another old car with a bunch of windows, lights, bells and whistles. I think I’m into a little two seater, roadster, with some kind of flat head Motor, and standard transmission. I want a hot rod! I’ve got the wagon, I’ve got my chevy trucks new and old. I’ve got a Tahoe and my brothers AMC sport about. I’ve got nothing to go raising a little hell in. I mean that doesn’t stop me from raising hell in the other vehicles but they’re not very “cool”. I want maybe a covertible? Maybe something red?! Which bring me to a question. WHAT ARE “WESTCOTT” bodies? Are these things worth an investment? Should I start a new thread for my car search? Thoughts? Feelings? Insults?

Westcott, inCaliforia buitl fibregass replica bodies of varous cars, mostly Fords I believe. Lots of show winning hot rods are fibreglass copies. Sorta like a lot of modern day movie stars, not 100% real, but nice.
Like you, I'm still dreaming about another Model A coupe. Maybe all original, maybe slightly better than a ratrod. Red would be nice.

I think maybe you should or could, maybe might, start a hot rod search thread. But I feel this thread is just fine. You're ugly and your feet smell.
Since we've never really met that's the best insult I can come up with. I'm better at finding the good parts or just lying and saying you're kool.

Ya gotta remember that was 11 years ago. Lots of stuff has happened since then.
Don just got a new hip and sadly Pat passed on last year from Dementia complications. We stood up at each others weddings. Not many can say these things after nearly 60 years.
Still see Don most weeks. He's still got the T-Bird, his old '49 Olds fastback and a 1950 Olds fastback.
If a guy don't have an old car in the garage he's not my friend.

Here’s to old friends:beerchug:anybody can have new friends at anytime, most of them fade fast. but the older you get the harder it is to have an old friend. It’s something that’s harder to acquire than that red hot rod with a flat head motor that you plucked out of my thoughts. that’s what I want!!! Or close to that..

What a cool article! But I’ll keep my keister here in America. Did you read the first bit about the anti-American graffiti? Including anti Obama and Hilary graffiti? Someone outta tell those people Obama isn’t American and Hilary is from Arkansas, a different world in itself. :bouncy:I’ll keep my 6’7 white American a$$ in Tennessee where i donT stick out like a sore thumb. I still stick out here in Nashville but it’s more of a middle finger:rofl:

Sorry, mild politics. Grandma always said in her house “no talking about religion, politics, or Abraham Lincoln” (I think 1860 politics are fair right?!) Not sure what was racist, I’ve dated every kind of brown that can be found in this little town! They’re mothers all loved me and their brothers usually came around. I’ll try not to mention the fact that I’m a white American mutt anymore. Sometimes things get lost in translation through typing. Sorry to offend! Really i am! Definitely not the first time:slap:all joking aside, thank you for all the sacrifices you made For our country. You are greatly appreciated

You still didn't mention anything racist, despite your believing that you did. Why fall for it?
