Welcome Michael! I just now saw that you are a brand new member! Nice wagon pics. I hope you will write a little intro about yourself, to help us get to know you. Cheers!
The Poll at the top, along with intro title. For a newbie, he got into the nuts and bolts of the forum.
I think the Stormy weather is getting to me, Steve. A 73 year woman was car-jacked by a guy who wanted a ride, right close to where my wife and I were, in a shopping mall, at about the same time. He slugged her and took off with the car, and I didn't see it. That really got my dander going, and I started seeing stuff 'out-of-the-box', as it were.
This incident did that for a lot of Canadians: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2009/07/29/mb-carjacking-woman-winnipeg.html
We've had this discussion before but because we never see Canadian news this far south there's always the impression that the Canadians are much more civilized. All we ever see here is the Los Angeles news and it gives us the impression of a war zone. A couple of murders a day. And that includes murders of children, kidnappings, sex offenders, perverts. Seldom good news or useful news.
Well we just got the Highest Murder Count in the country, although we did lose the Car-jacking award last year. Rapes and Gang justice are on the rise, and this is only a city of 690,000!
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm 54 nothing to brag about but not the dullest knife in the drawer. I've been attracted to wagons since my folks had a 62 impala wagon we'd go on vacations in. boy these blinkin icons get on a man's nerves. Anyway Im lucky to live in the country ,work on old cars & pretend I'm making a living. I have a nice big work shop &paint booth & can do my own metal work, That's why these rusty old relics don't scare me. I have about 25 or 30 old cars, about 10 are wagons. Enjoy the pictures,. Thanks to the Wagonmaster for getting me on line,.
