You beat me to it Andrew. I concur. It is definitely a Mopar. However, I can't say for certain which marque.

"In the same vein" or "in a similar vein" meaning in the same style of speaking or writing.

    https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/learner-english/in-the-same-vein

    "In the same vein"
Thought to have origins in mining, while referring to a vein of precious metal such as gold or silver.

The original phrase is "It's in a similar vein", which actually started in mines since ores naturally formed long streaming deposits called veins. Miners would use the phrase to effectively communicate the locations of each separate vein. So if a miner uncovered what looked like two different deposits, a senior miner may come down and tell him that one deposit is "in a similar vein" to the other.

    Vein vs Vane?
    "In the same vein"
In this context, vein means a particular manner or style.

Is it vain, vane or vein?
Annoyingly, all of these words exist in British English. They do, however, have different meanings and are commonly mixed up.

    Vain
This is an adjective which means ‘not achieving the desired outcome’, ‘futile’, ‘unsuccessful’, ‘lacking substance or worth’, ‘hollow’ and ‘fruitless’.

As an adjective, it also means ‘showing undue pride and preoccupation in your own appearance’.

It is also used in the idiomatic phrase ‘to do something in vain’.

    Examples:
    • The boy’s vain attempt did not work. [adjective]
    • He was vain about his appearance that night. [adjective]
    • It was all in vain that we had tried so hard. [phrase]
    Vane
This is a noun which means ‘a thin plate of wood or metal, used to indicate weather and wind direction’ – a weather vane.

This noun also means ‘the sight on a quadrant or compass’ and ‘a guidance or stabilising fin on bombs or missiles’.

    Vein
This is a noun which means ‘a vessel which transports blood’.

This noun also means ‘a distinctive quality of character, a strain or streak’.

This noun also means ‘a turn of mind’.

    Examples:
    • A vein of optimism ran through his body. [meaning 2 above]
    • It was a warning in a serious vein. [meaning 3 above

Hubby and I went and got our tree this morning, it fit nicely in the back of the wagon. Looked kinda funny actually, one on the roof and one in the back. Later this evening we went to a free turkey dinner put on by one of the churches here in town. Then over to the tree lighting, hot chocolate and songs in the park. Man did it rain. But the tree was lite, hot chocolate was drank and songs were sung. Another Christmas is definitely under way.
