Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Haha, reminds me of the scene in "That '70s Show," where Red Foreman (a WW II Navy vet) looks at the new Toyota Corolla he'd just bought, and says, a bit angrily, "The last time I was this close to something Japanese-made, it was trying to kill me!"

Aside from the turbo and all-wheel drive, though, this one doesn’t share much with the Talon. It’s a factory-authorized turbo-diesel conversion to an AMC Eagle wagon. Apparently, American Turbo-Diesel Inc. only built five, selling them as “the roughest, toughest luxury car in the world,” and just one is known to exist today.
