    When we first moved to Florida the old neighbor had an early Bronco until he could no longer drive.
    It always was clean and looked like new.
    I've always wanted an older model in maybe red and white.

    Very cool. That would be neat to build. A period correct looking 4x4 early '60s Ranchero. Nothing too crazy.

    Might have early Bronco 4WD components installed, but it wouldn't have the Bronco's frame underneath. The Bronco was body-on-frame; the Falcon Ranchero was unitized construction. Also, the Ranchero has a 100.5" wheelbase, while the original Bronco had a 92.0" wheelbase.

    Yeah, it looks like it was an engineering mule, to test the axles and 4X4 components. Funny they'd choose a Chero, but unique, nonetheless. Which reminds me, I gotta go over to Ranchero.us and have a slice of Humble Pie and a big dish of crow over that 'Chero pickup.'
