Yeah, nice house. Sorry, I've got this thing for 1st generation Montes. What they did to that one looks like they designed it more for female buyers.
I like the first generation Montes, but like this as well. It certainly was popular with all buyers, as sales exploded.
Yeah, me too. I like the 1st-gen Monte Carlos MUCH more than the 2nd-gen. Hated the styling on these when they first came out. Still do.
An early Monte Carlo was our daughter's first car. As far as I know she's female. I also noticed the small shack more than the car. But those people living in Portland can afford houses like that as their summer place. According to Poison's avatar she is a female. For some reason I itch everytime I see that user name.
Do you mean, as far as you know, she's still a female? Or was she something else before she turned into a daughter?
While the 70 - 72 where better looking IMHO, the second generation beginning in 73 was a huge sales success. John Delorean was not the designer of the car, he was the GM of Chevrolet Division at the time. The styling was under the direction of Bill Mitchell at the time; he was also responsible for the colonnade styled GM intermediates also introduced in 73.
Hey, anybody who sports that kind of garb is ballsy, and gives no s#!ts about what anyone else thinks.
Then, we have Bill blass who did some styling for FoMoCo. It seems, he made it a habit of always getting photographed holding either a cigarillo or a cigarette: Was he holding those objects to keep his wrist from limping, maybe?: Scompany? Who knows whats beneath those skirts. Be it lady or dude looks like a lady?:
