Those are neat Tedy. Now which member is gonna grab that wagon from the retaining wall?
I've seen scrapped cars used along river banks to stop erosion.
Friends in Florida had a small old time store with a Model A out front fueling up. I had pictures once.:ttiwwp:

It's cool to see these cars, and know that they haven't been crushed, and that they are serving about the only purpose they really can at this point.
But it still makes me a little sad.

I actually don't like using cars that are straight and could give up good parts to fix others still on the road. That '59 Chebby, the Pontiac and, I'm guessing, that Edsel, all have otherwise usable parts. If they were somewhat bashed around, and had little to no good parts left, I could then see doing that.

I'm thinkin those tree cars were somehow added to the trees later. Some of those trees are much older than the cars and most look set up.
The trees have been trimmed and I don't see pealed up metal around the trunks. Like those pointy grain bins in the far away desert I'm thinking aliens are involved.:scratchchin:

They may have been lowered over saplings, but just look at the 59 Chevy, the tree grew into the hole cut thru the roof, expanded beyond it. I would say they have been there for at least 30 years. I did take the pictures and they we well sunk into the ground.

This Ranchero certainly could donate a lot of parts; guys with the '77-'79, like my Babe, pay upwards of $150 apiece for those front corner lamps. I wonder how much that left 'cat eye' tail lamp on the '59 Chebby would go for?

I just popped on to eBay, and there are no '59 tail light assemblies or lenses for sale or bid; all I found was a reverse light lens.

On this years vacation we found quite a few. This Bug was part of an Outdoor Art display in 29 Palms CA. The entire area outside of 29 Palms is very eerie to me, hundreds of little abandoned Homesteads, or as the locals refer to them Cabins. This art display is tired as it is 30 or so years old. The artists are in their 80's no not much has changed. This was from October 2016

Same Vacation Oct 2016 this Plane wreck outside a Closed Brothel outside of Beatty Nevada. The Brothel is closed but it used to have its own private airport. In my Mind I am wondering about the Rushed and Botched Landing in anticipation of all the awaiting delights, that caused this Beach 18 to be on permanent display.
