I have a 1971 Thunderbird with the fan defogger under the rear package tray. Worthless in TN where high humidity is the relevant factor.

Know anyone with parts for one of those? I need a gas tank for a 71 mark III It and the 71 thunderbird are the only thing that work.

I think there's a 71 "Mark Tree, yo" (as we say in Eastern Penna!) in our local pick and pull here in Albuquerque, yo.

I would have to get online and look at their inventory if it's still there, it took a hard swipe to the pass. front and was sitting for awhile.

I bought a complete 70 for parts for $500 with 13,000 miles on it gas tank was JUNK! But got a lot of usable other items. Gas tank is different but I could of made it work just too much rust.

Could you get me a link? or check on a tank for me?
HAS to be a 71. The one in my car did NOT leak and was full but it has so much CRAP in it rust wise, I am afraid it will have pin holes everywhere. LOL I NEVER found the brass float!

Won't be until next Sunday 'til I can get to the U-Pull and Pay. Booked solid until then. Still listed on their site for 19.99. PM me if "you want I should" look at it and details.

Makes sense - when I needed a float and sending unit for my 69 Merc, there was some goofy shite with the years that they used. I was lucky - I was able to get a sending unit out of a 70 Marquis Brougham in ELP that worked. But I remember the interchange was something like "70 Continental only" when it came to Lincolns.
