Around a year ago I got stupid & sold my 1979 Datsun 210 wagon (AKA The Turd and have regretted it every bloody day since!):banghead:
I've been searching ever since,A year ago I found a 1983 pontiac Bonneville wagon sitting behind a house in a boondock town where I worked left my # with 'Stan' , Well I changed jobs & my phone was murdered and lost contacts well almost a year later I was working in the same small town and the wagon was gone :( I turned the corner & Taa daa there it sat in the driveway, I just had to stop and chit chat with Stan,
I asked if he figured out what he needed for it?
Stan looked at me and said " The battery is dead & it gonna need some work"
I told him 'I'm not afraid of working on old cars' ;)
Stan " Well I wouldn't feel right taking any money for it since it doesn't run- So if ya want it, I'll just give it to ya!
    :dancingpa:
I went home & grabbed my wife & we drove back to Stan's to collect my car!:thumbs2:

If she wants the grocery getter, let her have the grocery getter. I used to have a '79 Malibu and an '82 Cutlass Cruiser, and I loved 'em both! Darned good design and easy on gas before the 200R4.

Nice find. I suspect she'll be going down the road under her own power in short order......

fixing the exhaust and driving it
I was thinking of put some cheap mag wheels on it, like some kid got it from his parents in the late 80's or early 90's & finding and replacing the "woody" trim (when I find replacement vinyl)
