Well I'm not retired, all my neighbors are, at least the ones that bought their houses new...
As for the yard junk, that's what my backyards for, my two sons have more toys than F.A.O Schwarz... maybe not as cool though.
Funny thing about siding, mines the original wood... and the house originally was an ugly pea soup green :yuck:, with I'm guessing a off white trim, not very 70's too me, but the original owners where in their 50's when they bought the place back in '71.

Maybe the old neighbors will come over and tell you about the wagon they owned just like yours.
Mine is back in Illinois in our garage. I have no idea what style the house is. To me it's a box with ugly white aluminum siding.
Inside is still 60's but we like that. All I need to do is get back there and scatter some car parts around for decoration.
The bush is gone and the pine tree is trimmed

They might start having flashbacks when they see me leave the house in my 70's wide collar vintage shirts, boot cut jeans, and zip side low boots, and a men's shag blow out haircut... I'm weird...or the polite thing is "unique" or "eccentric" :D
richie-finestra-1920.jpg when you look like this, but younger...

Reminds me of a Blackadder line:

"Sir! Prince or pauper, when a man soils a Wellington, he's put his foot in it!"

Well my brother nicknamed the wagon "butterscotch barge" if that helps. :D
I still don't know her name, she must be shy, she hasn't told me yet.
It will come about eventually, we're still getting to know each other, and I've been such a rude boy by sticking my hand in places that are personal, like behind her door panels...

When you're working on a car and the wrench slips and you scrape all the skin off your knuckles you will immediately have all kinds of names for it.

True, but when your spouse pisses you off you may have all sorts of names, but those aren't what you'd call them while out in public... then again in this day and age the whole worlds Topsy Turvey...

Strangely only one vehicle of ours got a name. The old UltraVan RV is Wally, as in Wal-Mart. That's because we saw another in our local parking lot and it was the first since our original sighting back in the 70's up north.
    For some reason Wally stuck.

The rest have names like "The 55 wagon" and "Old Yeller, the '41 Ford."
Like Vista wrote they do get called other names sometimes.
Sometimes I have names for my wife and kids but can't repeat them here.

Way back when they were new and popular truckers named them THE WHITE WHALE.
