Sure been some changes in the car haulers and the cars hauled over the years. Enough to make a grown man barf his mayo filled donut.:slap:
Then again given a choice any donut without hot sauce would be better.
Coincidentally I just finished a nice big fresh glazed donut. Rather have a Spudnut!:yup:

I'm he same way. I do enjoy some mild salsa every now and then but anything spicier then that I really don't enjoy it. I also really like chilli but it is not hot spicy, it's mildly chili spicy...mmmm:hungry:

It's an aquired taste. When I worked outside at Cat some of the coworkers often brought in various HOT peppers. At first just smelling some of them made my eyes water and my nose burn. After sampling and finally eating hotter peppers I was eating the hottest with the guys.
Now that the years have passed I can't eat even Taco Bell sauce stronger than the mild.

I used to grow some seriously HOT Thai chili peppers.
One or two of them was enough to spike a pot of chili.
I used to put them in a bottle of vinegar to make a nice condiment for collards or cabbage or fried fish. Yummy!
My Indian friend who grew up in Tanzania would spread bread with mayonnaise and make a sandwich with about a dozen or more of them. It looked pretty, red on white, but WAY too sporty for me.

On the other hand all of those hot spices totally change the flavor of good food. We stopped using salt, pepper, katsup, and many of those things. Also as we get older our tastes change.

    Now that is just wrong!

Its all a matter of how your body perceives tastes, Krash. I can do very spicy, I can do super sour, but over-sensitive to bitter . Certain leafy greens I find to be completely unpalatable.
