When a friend of mine saw pictures I posted on Facebook of my 67 Belvedere wagon, he messaged me with pictures of his family's 67 Belvedere wagon including a couple pictures taken on the beach of Assateague Island, Maryland in 1972. They would take the wheel covers off and lower the tire pressure to drive on the beach. Once the slant six powered wagon pulled a couple of pickup campers out that had gotten stuck in the sand.

That is exactly why when other people feel that some wagons are over priced, (some of them are) I look at what you are getting for a whole lot less.
    Just my perspective.:49:

This photo made me immediately think of the old Thunderbird Motel and Restaurant in Ellensburg WA. When I was a kid I always knew we were almost to my Great Grandparents house when I saw the beautiful Thunderbird sign. Sadly it was replaced in 2011 when it became a Motel 6.

I remember that from when I was a kid also. We always stopped in Ellensburg after crossing I-90's Snoqualmie Pass for pee breaks and brekky on our way to Pullman and Plummer, ID, to visit family. As an adult, we still stop in Ellensburg whenever we cross the pass.

Sheeeze.... don't they all look excited? Hard to tell if it's a funeral or a thrilling wicker basket fair! Maybe they look so gloomy because the craft fair was sold out of those knitted cloths hangers!:rofl2:

What's the name of this Bonneville car? I've seen pics elsewhere, but I can't remember. IIRC, all four engines are Chrysler Hemi engines.
