    Coming from SoCal it might be rough. Winters are typically pretty nice. Sure we get our freezing temps, and snow, but we also receive over 300 days of sunshine a year. There are not many days where you do not want to be outside.
    Ft. Collins is a great community. Best of luck to her.

    Her younger son (my nephew) has lived down in Denver for a few years and loves it - does a lot of hiking all over......
