Once I did this, I decided that I should just keep going with the LEDs. I bought a bunch of bulbs for the turn signals and exterior lights. Now I have LED reverse lights, license plate light, and cornering lamps, and boy are they great!

I did try them for the turn signals, brake lights, and running lights, but I found a couple things.
First, the terminals for my turn signal flasher fuse are reversed, so the LED flasher won't work until I get around to swapping the terminals on the fuse panel.
Second, when installing LED bulbs for turn signals, spend more for the brighter/higher quality bulbs. I bought a ten pack of 1157 LED bulbs for $20, instead of the other option I was looking at, which was $20 for two bulbs. After installing the LEDs in one side of my taillights, I realized that they weren't as bright as the original bulbs.
Granted, the bulbs I have work GREAT for clear lens applications, just not when they have to light up red lenses.

I adjusted the shifter on the '67 to stop the 1-2 shift from binding & it doesn't anymore, but now neutral is next to impossible to find. Stupid worn out shifter. Going to have to get a rebuild for it or replace it (good luck with that).

Meant to post this a month ago, but got busy with work and other stuff, so I forgot until now: I took my car to a car show. The show was called Rodz on 3rd, and is held annually in Marysville (where I currently live). Had a blast meeting all the other car folks, although I was disappointed that only 2 other wagons were in the show. I got 2 trophies, one for a Random Pick drawing, and the other for "Eye Sore" because I basically pulled the car out of storage and drove it to the show, moldy interior and all. Got a lot of compliments despite the overall condition of the car. I hope to have her looking a lot better for the next car show, although right now she's back-burnered while I save up for new window & door seals and some mechanical repairs.
Here's the trophies I got. They're hand-made by the guy who runs the car show.

So you basically did nothing and were rewarded for it.(y)

Those are unusual trophys and strange clasifications. But it's all about having fun and it sounds like a fun show!:tiphat::clap:

They had more normal trophy categories like Best in Show, Best '50s car, etc, but also quite a few fun ones like "Most likely to catch fire" (picked by the local fire department), "Most likely to get towed" (picked by the police) and "Biggest Oil Leak". It was indeed a fun show.

    The latest work

Replaced my fuel pump, changed my oil. I am having my mechanic see if he can fix my fuel gauge. Pretty unnerving not knowing how much gas in in the tank)
Also water pump being replaced, and coolant system is being flushed out and replaced with Evans waterless coolant.:)

Put new carpet in and had the front seat redone in my 66 T&C. Much more comfortable to drive now!

Replaced the upper A frame bushings on my 73 Buick, note to self......a frames are left and right specific. I had the right one back on and couldn't get the balljoints lined up. That's when I realized it was actually the left a frame.

I only do one side at a time, brakes also. But you learned something and that's important.

I think everyone's done that at least once. My screwup was that I had both a-arms sitting on the floor, underneath each of their sides, and I still f%&ked it up.

    Been waxing with Royal Blue.

I took the roof rack and strips off to wax underneath the strips and it was dirty under the strips. There are some "rust starting" bubbles where some of the screw holes are so I'll have to get those fixed. Also, it looks like when the car was repainted they didn't do the entire roof and it's still sporting its original finish on the rear section of the roof. Oil pan needs replaced someday too since I don't like how it looks.
