    I just wonder why they didn't put a tow bar on it? Why waste time with loading/unloading it on a trailer? And as for Chevy vs. Ford, the original Broncos had smaller size, so they could fit into spaces a Blazer/Jimmy or FS Bronco can't. But I'll take a '78-'79 Bronco over all the others, just because I do go for the looks and available drivetrains.

    I found that out with my 74 Trail Duster, all my friends at the time had CJ5's, Scout's, or 1st series Bronco's. On the tight Colorado trails we used to run I often had to make my own way around rocks or trees.
    They would only stop teasing me about my "White Elephant" when they needed the power of the 440 to pull them out of trouble.

    Hell, that still happens! I had gone to an FSB get-together and trail run several years ago; I was just rockin' my unmodded '89 Eddie Bauer, never got stuck because I wheeled smartly, and invariably someone would still high-center, even though they had a high lift. So I'd lock down and pull them out of trouble.
