Good luck GN. Glad to hear you've moved. Things will get better. We're still living in the Florida boonies and enjoying life. Keep in mind whatever goes wrong makes us stronger.
Glad you said Boonies... we are 5 minutes from Judi's work but yesterday i saw a long tailed fox on the way home, thought it was odd and see on facebook that there are bear sightings around!
When I worked for a living i saw lots of foxes, deer, and other critters near the factory and along my 15 mile route to work. Here in the so called boonies we see lots of wild things. some even at Wal_Mart! My wife won't let me go cougar hunting!
Nice, still a pretty place to live. Hope you guys are happy and comfortable there. Maybe I'll get down sometime, I've been thinking about taking my grandson to the zoo.
Still only 20 minutes tops from the zoo. Remember the red wagon in aylesford she traded the caddy and trailblazer on a 2013 durango r/t! and yes she just turned 80!
End of an era today as i do the final walk through today and give the keys to the bank. Finally got everything out and papers for the sale came i am going in to see what it sells for . One page of our lives closed and another begins.
As the World turns another chapter of our lives is closed! Sort of a sad but hopefully good turning point in your lives. We've moved very few times and have always looked to the future as a better time. Good luck. I can't believe we bought another home last October and haven't begun to move. I may end up moving to another place before I ever get to Illinois. Come to think of it they are similar.
Thanks for the best wishes and karma sent we have passed "over the hump" we are settled in our new home and are moving forward. this forum has been the only place i have shared this story of our troubles and sometimes just needed a place to vent! Food for thought for everyone keep business and money separate from siblings cause as we found no matter how close you are the all mighty dollar will come in to play. Same situation came next door when our neighbor died her daughter was looking after her parents and after they both passed the rest of the family came and took everything except the house.
Sometimes it's good to share with others. I do too often! Looks like you have plenty of wide open spaces around you. We had Lylock bushes back in Illinois. Not sure what the two ovegrown ones are at the little house we bought but they gotta go. One is nearly blocking the front door and the other is where I want the drive way entrance. Maybe i can take starts and replant them. I don't think palm trees or banana plants will grow up there.
Yes and thanks we are quite "to our selves people but the interweb (here only) can be a good place to release some tension/
