    Wait a minute...

Is that the same car as this? I'm told the one below is a Pontiac.

Nope, not the same. The Pontiac in the lower shot was identified as a '64 Safari, which was discovered on the sand in Morro Bay, CA. after a big storm.

Frankly, the scene with the Chevy in the other pic looks 'east coast'.

The Chevy in the sand looks like upper Panhandle of Florida or Mississippi.

Why don't shoppers look like this anymore?

Yeah, West Coast sand is darker, due to erosion from soils deposited by volcanic action; Gulf Coast and Panhandle coast sands are much lighter, closer to true coral sand.

Look no tattoos, they have nice hair cuts, and their clothes cover their butt crack and other cracks. Plus the kids are wearing shoes.

Actually, Walmart was in business back then. But even poor families back then had discipline.

All of you guys are focusing on their clothes... Did anyone notice the jerk isn't parked in a spot? The inconsiderate, self centered fool is blocking the aisle just to park his lazy ass a few feet closer to the store!:biglaugh:

55 years later, the argument still rages on about education...
