I admitted I'm not a doctor. I just play one on the internet!:biglaugh:
We always notice the leg and feet swelling. I remember an old aunt who had it and I had no idea why she had fat feet.

Thanks for the explanation, this makes sense.

Along with the triple by pass and the fluid around his lung, one has collasped and he broke his nose when he pass out and hit the deck. However I'm sure the nose is the least of his worries.

Thank you for the well wishes guys. Billy has been a great neighbour to just about everyone on the street. Some of you may recall a few of my stories about him cutting down the trees in our back yard, then sodding the entire thing both times while we were away. Then another time he towed a garden shed into our back garden, he just didn't want it any more. Then his business had an extensive fire and explosion but he kept all his employees working cleaning up after the fire, then renting another location and getting that ready for them to carry on work...he is just a great person. I hope he recovers well.

    Hiddy Ho Good neighbor

Actually yes.Not many here but all friendly and helpful if we really needed them.
I think neighbors attitudes have to do with the neighbor next door.

I think your right. Lately I've been thinking about the issues we were all having with each others dogs a few years back.
Billy's son had FIVE German Shepards living in his back yard. They were left out ALL the time and would bark a lot and annoy everyone. Lloyd had a bunch of yappy small poodles and they would bark a lot and howl when Lloyd and the Mrs were out. The poodles were kept mostly in the house but late at night Lloyd would walk one or two very close to Billy's fence which made the GS bark and go savage. Then one of the other neighbours would call and complain about the noise and Billy was being fined or the police would show up. I had two dogs at the time. They were never fenced in a yard. I kept a close eye on them when they were outdoors but from time to time they would wander over to Lloyd's steal a bone or something and bring it home.
So needless to say things were getting pretty tense. No one ever complained to me about my dogs, actually several times Lloyd's wife had asked me how do I keep them in the yard. However I'm sure they didn't like my dogs rummaging around their yard. But both Billy and Lloyd's wife (at different times) would complain to me about each others dogs being a pain in the arse, to the point that threads were being made against each others dogs.
So one day I had heard enough! So I took matters into my own hands and explained to both of them that we are all dog owners, we all love our dogs but our dogs are doing things that bothering the neighbourhood. And that we all live on the same street and unless someone is willing to move we need to fix this problem. So maybe instead of doing things to make matters worst we could try to take care of our own issues with our dogs and the problems might go away.
So we put up a white picket fence to keep out dogs from wandering over to Lloyd's. Lloyd stopped walking his dogs close to Billy's fence and Billy's son started putting the dogs in the basement at night...but then he moved and took them all with him...:) So all was well on Westerior Lane again.
    The End.

They are good neighbours, things were just getting out of control.

Fannie I like your doggie story and the happy ending. More neighbors need to talk over problems.
Back on our little cul-de-sac the lots were narrow and our next door neighbors had several hunting dogs. I have no idea of one dog to another. These were those white spotted pointer things that love to yelp half the nite or ride around on fire trucks.
Their metal large dog building was within 25' of our bedroom window.
They were taking the dogs duck hunting or some other hunting at ungodly early mornings when I finally had a chance to sleep late. It got annoying.
After many discussions they sort of controlled the dogs.
Friends visiting us and having cook outs got upset watching the neighbor's breed.......... The dogs that is! Eventually they put up a tarp when they were breeding... The dogs!:rofl2:
But we were sure glad when we moved away. Now the nearest dogs are five acres away and don't bark often.:yup:
