Do any of y'all remember the full width mud flaps that were available in the 60's-70's....?
Usually found on station wagons. I'd love to find one for my 69 Fury suburban.

    Mud Flaps and Fender Skirts

    HEY ...... old guys.
You talkin bout me! I do remember those full width mud flaps. Actually into the 90's I saw the larger ones for Class A motorhomes, especially good for towing a car behind.
When I worked for Cat as a driver I got a set of the old semi mud flaps for my Torino wagon then my 1975 Ford truck. I'm thinking they were about 2'X2'. Of course they were black with a yellow C A T in the center. later Cat sold white ones with the C A T in black just for that purpose.
If you go to a truck stop you could buy three with many logos and use one in the center. I've seen that done. Those official CAT black mudflaps were over 1/4" thick and lasted a long time.
Later when I bought my chrome diamond plate full running boards I bought matching 2'X 18" (guessing) chrome diamond plate mud flaps. When I bought the 77 Ford 3/4 ton truck I bought longer diamond plate running boards and used those same mud flaps.
I was a cool dude back then with bull hauler lights all over my trucks and RV trailers.

I actually have an NOS one from Ford still in the box. Some day I might even put it on. I'll see if I can dig it out and post a photo.
