I love "one off" vehicles. Vehicles that the factory never made. I thought it would be interesting to see pics of wagons that the factory never made. I like the creativity and craftsmanship involved in the conversion. Examples...
    Conversions to 2 doors
    Conversions to 4 door hardtop
sedans and coupes turned into wagons
    Conversion to sedan delivery
Anything modified to be a unique wagon
I will start it off, here is a 62 Ford Ranch wagon that I converted to a sedan delivery.

Love the looks of that car.
I have always wanted to do that to a mid 90' BMW 540 Wagon just to be really different.

I like the Ranch Wagon. Nice work.
There may already be a thread like this here.
I wanted a sedan delivery so almost made my 55 Chevy 2-dr into one.

    Nice! I like the subject.....

Can we keep the pics in the 'REAL' category, though (No photoshops)?

    From another recent thread.......

This Mustang wagon looks very nice:

I agree with Krash Kadillac. Keep these real pictures of real vehicles.
I wished they had a Mustang wagon back when Mustangs came out. Had to trade my 1965 fastback because it got crowded with kids in the back.

    No pictures, just thoughts......

For the longest time I've wanted to figure out a way to make a two door '73 Satellite wagon. What makes it more of a challenge is that 2 door models look totally different than the 4dr/wagon models (which is actually what attracted me to the body style).

So, Imagine the front and side windows(?) of this......

Combined with the wagon portion of this.......

I think it could be pulled off, or maybe there's a good reason why no one has attempted it? :scratchchin::slap:

There's a photoshop of this concept floating out there in WWW-land. Danged if I can find it now though, while I'm looking for it.

The pic shows what I think is a '72 GTX, charcoal (?) in color, with the pic taken from a right rear 3/4 view, showing the rear and right side. The rear hatch used by the 'chopper looks identical to a rear hatch on a '73 Chevelle Malibu wagon. The existing wide 'B' pillar was mostly still there, and the quarter side windows were a bit small-ish.

    Found it.....

Looks pretty good, but, in reality, would be impractical due to the high lift over because of the back bumper.

Also, I'd want to keep it all Mopar. Parts could come from any year, model, as long as its Mopar. But, that's just me.......:D

OK, no more photochopped pics......back to reality. :rulez:

I WISH I could photoshop pictures. I would spend hours trying to create the images in my head for conversions like these. Personally I would welcome photoshop examples in this thread just because it opens up so many possibilities.

I did this back in the 60's when I was a kid. But we called it 'drawing' back then........

If the bumper was on a hinge like a tailgate liftover wouldn't be an issue!

But i would drive it anyway ...in cyberspace!

I can't say I love this wagon BUT I do respect the craftsmanship the went into it. It just doesn't look right on a pony car IMO

If Santa left it under my tree I'd paint it red and white and drive it.
