Lisa we love your fridge! Whenever Dollie is not looking I clean ours off so I can see what color it is!
if it hasnt been done i would suggest running new brake lines and fuel lines. it is much easier when the body is off
Lisa that is the same motor I put in my 39 , you will love it . Good luck , and I too would put new brake and gas lines . Blue
Hubby confirms that yes, new brake and fuel lines will be added. He remembers the conversation with our mechanic.
Dave and I are mulling that over, Manderthal. I've scrubbed them off and we're getting our game plan together. Any suggestions about repainting them are welcomed.
This will help to date me...........back in college, I had a job in a drug store, a little Mom and Pop place. One of my duties was to deliver prescriptions. You guessed it, the delivery vehicle was a 1959 Chevy wagon, 4 door, 6 cyl, 3 speed. Ah, the memories from 50 years ago............
That's why we're moving to Memory Lane! If I had those hubcaps I'd very carefully try to work those dents out. It can be done. If only I could remember how!
Hell,, T1 prolly remembers when the Conestoga Wagons were new.... reference : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conestoga_wagon
Nope. Our foreathers and five mothers had regular old farm wagons and the rich ones used Studebaker wagons after the Studebaker brothers added wagons to their line of plows and other farm equipment. Us kids had to walk along side and help some kid named Jonny plant apple seeds.
