I'm out in Butte, MT for work and saw this in the McDonald's drivethru and thought some of you might get a kick out of it. I only got a chance to look at it for a second, but it look like he did a good job. Since it's a Buick and a ute and saw it in Butte, I named it the B'ute.

Not a bad looking B'ute. But I don't give a hoot for the rear wheel openings on the Ute from Butte so don't think it's really cute.
    Glad you are eating well!

Looks like a park Avenue model, '96 - '05 (more than likely something around 2000 or so...)

I like that some thought was put into building it - extending the passenger compartment by about a foot or so; using a utility body instead of an off-the-shelf P/U bed; matching the paint. I've seen lots worse........

I'll bet it rides pretty good, too.

I'm living out of a hotel for a month and the food options in this town have been mediocre at best.

Extended "cab" so the set can go all the way back. if the sides were "car smooth" it would look like an aussie ..great job!

Bummer, no kitchenette hotel room? Then at least you could stock and eat real food.

Edit.... Do you mean Butte "MT" as in Montana? If so I can see many reasons as to never having to eat Mc-wheres-the-bathroom, especially for dinner!

Most grocery stores have a deli where you can piece together a decent meal.

I know how to use Google. My friends call me The Googler. It's my super hero name. I don't even cook when I'm home, so I'm not going to do it when I have a only mini fridge and microwave. I've tried several of the restaurants and only a couple have been decent. I drove 60 miles to Helena yesterday in the search of good Chinese food. I struck out. It taste about the same as the one that is next door to my hotel. However, I did find out about a boat tour that goes through The Gates of the Mountains and saw several bald eagles, so that made the drive there worth while.

Exactly,,,, this is our other favorite when it comes to grocery store fast food, comes in 1/2 a chicken also but avoid the deep fried grease bomb pieces, couple small greek/coleslaw/potato etc salads, a couple fresh buns and for only pennies more than Rancid-Ronnies or Barf-King and if you have a cooler, pack it with ice and your left overs are tomorrows lunch

My way back in the old days working/living out of a duffle bag we would bring a small portable BBQ.

I heard bald eagles don't taste bad when microwaved. Just don't get caught.

So you went to Helena and back!:rofl2::evilsmile:

We used to get deli food when out riding while camped. Loved the scenery.

You're not missing much. I had a great uncle who served in Europe in WW II, and he was soooo sick of Spam by V-E Day, he never ate another bite in his life because if he saw it, smelled it or even heard the name, he became ill and, according to Mom, he even hurled a couple times.
