    Hi everyone,

I don't currently have a station wagon... my husband had a Volvo wagon but we lost it in an accident recently, unfortunately. I grew up with station wagons in the 80s - my parents had a Ford Fairlane, I think a very early 80s model, and then a 1985 Chevy Caprice Classic, which is still to this date the only car they ever bought brand-new. I will have to look for old photos to post!

I have a question about the difference between some late-80s Oldsmobile wagons that I will go and post in the main forums, if anyone knows the differences between the Cutlass Cieras and Cutlass Cruisers. I figured a station wagon forum would be the best place to ask! :)

Welcome aboard. Good luck with the find.

    Here's a few years listed:

Depends on the year. In 1984, the Cierra was a sub-model to the Cutlass:

No, not looking, but I knew somebody who had a Cutlass Cruiser wagon and that it was a 1988 model (I think), and now whenever I think I see one (which is very rare!), they are Cieras instead... so I am wondering what the difference is, if they are the same thing but the "Cruiser" label was put on some editions for some reason...? Just curious about the difference!

I don't see the link to the thread... I'd be interested, though!

Here is the Cutlass Cruiser I am remembering, one year older - I see it has the same wheels as yours! Grill looks different. Back side window is all one piece in this one.

    Welcome to the SWF....
The small 'vent glass' in the rear area indicates it's a third seat model. No 'vent glass' = no third seat.
