I was once talking, saying "I don't see a lot of wagons around here." and then at a red light saw an 80s Full-Size one pass at a red light. I think it's a 1980s Chevy since I've seen one of the same color around here and it was at my next-door neighbor mechanic's place for repairs.

Another time I was driving the 84 Caprice Sedan and I saw what I think was an 80s Buick pass by.

Stopped past a car gathering for a few minutes last night at a tool reseller and there were a few wagons. A 59 country squire, 2dr, flat black, hood cut to allow the blower to hang out, huge tires on back, sounded awesome. A black '57 Nomad with flames (he seemed very surprised to see the same year Safari), a 55 Chevy 2 dr Handyman wagon and same year sedan deliver as well as a '56 and a '58 yeoman, and a few others. I was looking to see if a forums member was there but did not see him so suspect he has gone camping, so then headed past a coffee drive thru chain (Tim's) and there were at least 200 cars there so did not bother to pull in. Too many cars, too many people, too danged HOT. First time I've seen the two '55's out and about.

I saw a 50 something woody wagon a few weeks ago at a stop light as I was passing through. I waved, he waved, it was cool.

That's been about all I've seen. I'll catch a Taurus wagon that a painter uses (pretty beat up) but that's about it.

There hasn't been much around here lately, but Cat's mention of a '57 reminded me that I saw a former customer's 4-door '57 I worked on back in the late '90s. Still looking beautiful in its copper/white paint.

Almost had a heart attack on the way to work this morning as I thought I saw myself coming down the road. When we got closer I saw it was a GM sedan. Still I haven't seen one of those of this vintage since I got the Prairie Schooner either so it was kind of neat. Gave him a friendly wave as we passed.

Friday afternoon, I was heading out to a gathering and as I pulled out onto the main drag, a Olds-badged whale wagon rolled by me. A little beat up, but nothing that couldn't have been handled with some light bodywork.
