Thanks all for the comments and prayers aimed toward the kids. I called up yesterday and they seem to be settling in.

Spent all day yesterday cleaning and re-arranging the house. My two boys are both THRILLED to have their own rooms again, so I guess that's something positive.

My youngest discovered all the stuffed animals my oldest had outgrown under one of the beds...and I walked in to Tuck's room to find this yesterday afternoon. Ha!

So cute it's almost sickening! Hahahaha!

    Thanks again all!

I've been wondering how this situation had progress, thanks for posting the update.
I have no doubt you will keep an eye on things over there. It's going to be an adjustment for everyone, you have all really bonded. However, I believe your youngest is doing just fine.
All the best to you and the kids.

Just an update here. As most of you know my "three extra kids" I had for nearly two years moved back in with their father last June when school ended. I picked up the kids a few times over the summer. They spent July 4th with us, and I drove up to Temple a few times with care-packages and such.

Well this weekend I went and picked them up and combined Lily and Joseph's birthdays by taking them to Austin Comic Con on Saturday afternoon, to the Top Notch Drive-In car show Saturday night, and then out to Lake Georgetown for boating on Sunday. Loved having them back and hated dropping them off Sunday night.
For those that have wondered, their father is still employed and the kids are all in school, and passing their classes. They don't like Temple very much and miss Austin...I don't blame them, but they are doing ok. Their Dad is really trying...it is what it is.

I took them for haircuts, they brought all their dirty clothes in bags and we washed them all, and Misty and I took them shopping and got them new fall clothes, shoes, socks, and bathroom stuff on Sunday. Trying to do all we can for them.

ANYWAY here are some pics from this weekend. We ALL had a ball!

I spoiled them a bit...this is their Comic-Con "loot" that evening after Lily made a display..ha!

Hit the Top Notch cruise-in on the way home. Posted pics from the show elsewhere on the forum but here are a couple of quick ones.

After clothes-shopping we spend Sunday afternoon at Lake Georgetown. This was the BEST weekend I've had in ages. Too much fun!

Hope you all had a great weekend. Keep sending prayers and positive thoughts towards these kids and their Dad in Temple Texas. I love them a lot!
