    My 68 Chrysler Newport had the fuel fill at the rear license plate the only down side was its low to ground and you had to bend over to fill it but being 16 and having a car to drive never had a problem with it but now having my filler above the rear wheel yea I'm glad for the change.

    Just a comment on this one......
    Always thought that the Buick designers did an excellent job on scaling down the Buick styling ques from their big cars onto the small Special for '61. The curvey/pointed fenders; the scalloped sides; the greenhouse that's mostly windows. Very easy to tell it's a Buick.
