Well I bought the car in the begining of March but FINIALLY got to see it in person on this past Wednesday along with driving it.
It def needs restoring but I am also going to try to use it as my daily driver.
It has the 4spd on the floor which someone put there, its suppose to be an auto on the coloum. I will def be putting it back on the coloum, who ever did the conversion before I got it did a terrible job. Gears are oppisite where they are supose to be so we thought we could just flip the linkage a 180 and get it right but they did such a terrible job that we cant flip it cause the floor and tunnel is in the way. So I am currently looking for a th350 auto and a torque converter if anyone in the tampabay, fl area has one for sale?

Anyway check out my cardomain page for lots of pics.
    Thanks for looking
    Bernie

looks good for its age. Needs some work. For the manuel transmission, cant you just bring it to a shop and have them reposistion the gears for you?

No who ever did the orignal swap basically used all thread and welded it to the gear levers to the tranny and are right against the tunnel so theres no room to move them
Thats ok though gives me a bigger push to do what I actually want which is to put it back to an auto on the coloum.

    Thanks for lookings guys
