Living proof that photo lie! The paint on the hood is all cracked and peeling off. The two rear pillars (back of car) are rusted through. The floors are sheetmetal and epoxy patched. The driver side back door is bent up pretty good. the tailgate is bent up as well and the framework that holds the solinoid for the window release has rust off and the window can only be opened with the key. And as long as I own this car I will never have to have my driveway sealcoated because this car leaks enough oil to keep it nice and shiny black! :bouncy: Still a great car but in real life it really shows it's age!!

Dan: The important thing is that you keep the old girl going, and going, and going! This is the time for your best Sir Winston imitation, and "Never Surrender!"

And let's not forget, it has a set of cute Illinois license plates on it!:rofl2: Almost makes me homesick. But I just checked the temps in the Peoria area.:slap: Hope the heater still heats.

Getting "more tired" everyday. Before too long will be worth nothing more than its weight in scrap. In desperate need of a good early 70s Quadra-Jet carb to see if that is the low power problem and see if I can rule that out as the issue. I have my eye on a nice 1973 Ford Country Squire right now, as well as a 1973 Pontiac Grand Safari... if I get either one of them, this one is probably going bye-bye. My mom says keep it, dad says sell/trade it. Maybe cause dad don't wanna help me work on it. ;)

I like that '63 Buick, someone here had a white '64 Invicta wagon (last and only Invicta model) that was driven by a clueless dad and son. That was in the last 25 years, probably doesn't exist anymore.

I like that 72 Kingwood Estate. If it needs to go, how much will you need?

I spotted this one in Macon yesterday, I'm not sure if its very tired, though.

The wheels don't do much for me, but it was good to see her cruising through the city streets anyways.

    Thought I'd share!

Just got mine running again :bouncy: 1972 350 2wd 1/2 ton. Pretty sure this '68 belongs to David Freiburger at HOT ROD magazine.

Might know of someone that would buy that!

My 1973 Gran Torino wagon that was last tagged in 1978
