Let's hope the white stuff doesn't carry south too far - we've already had our fill of snow here in the Willamette Valley. It's raining right now though.

Yup, we had the white stuff yesterday morning also, dogs just love it! Saw many a snow dude also, 2 across the street to boot. Heavy wet stuff, perfect for snow balls. I went out just after it got dark to walk the dogs and a friend across the street was having snow ball wars with his kids. He had his back to the street using cars to hide behind...... he didn't see me and ..................

Rite in the back of the head!

Kept snowing all day, not heavy but constant. Kept warming just enough to keep it at slush. This AM all is white again, but maybe 3-4 inches max including yesterdays snow.

What it looks like out my front door @ 6:15AM Nothing deep, but I have heard several sirens heading up island all ready since before 5AM

Looks like one of the snow dudes fell over.....

Guess I'll finish my coffee, go out and sweep the side walk before the AM freeze over happens. I'll top up the bird feeder also(y)

So how are the roads and anti-snow conditions over there? Here in Pennsylvania we have a lot of calcium anti-snow stuff that will eat through cars a lot if preventative measures aren't done. I heard in another state (Utah?) people just put chains on their tires and so their vehicles don't rust away like they do here in PA.

Well on my island, as I predicted, it froze but I got out there before it happened, but my drive way is a ice rink now..... And now it's 1/2 frozen rain. I'll be out in a bit to stick a heater in the Merc to defrost it.

They salt here now, been that way for a few years. They also use a liquid brime solution of some sort but only use that for frost and black ice.

Aaaaaaw Geee! Yesterday we had thunderboomers and hard rain all day. If it were snow I probably couldn't see out the windows. Golly I miss snow!
My kids back in Illinois keep having to shovel their roofs. Up in Michigan roofs are collapsing.
Now I remember why we ran away from the midwest. It's only 72 and sunny now. Nothing exciting to take pictures of. :rofl2:
And that Florida picture at the state line had to be Photocrapped.

I will admit from my living room at the monitor wearing shorts and T-shirt all of those pictures sure look purddy!

Very valid point, fannie:yup:.... But coming from Winterpeg getting rid of snow is .....you don't think, you just do. I guess dad's child slave labor training stuck:rofl2: I cleaned it off, kept on top of it, then it froze, then it rained today..... I can walk my drive way while all others on the street are complaining about the slush/ice mess in there drive ways/walk ways...... And I don't want my honey to slip on the ice;)
Beer fridge must be provided, none of that girly diet beer either or I'll shovel my snow on your drive way:pub::cheers:

Needless to say...I was up till 1AM getting the snow off the 'temp' garages that my 58 Bermuda and my 66 Squire are under !!!!!!!!!
Both of them had bent the uprights about 20degrees and the truss bars over the Edsel were only about 1.5 " off the roof of her :49:

    Boy that was close !!

Then Tuesday..we were right back to spring conditions...then I wake up this morning....peer thru the blinds...WTH?? Ill be darned if it didnt snow again !! Mind ya...only about a 1/2 "

I fear it may be time to build more garage :yup:
