Waygun's Mopar wagon is in the latest Mopar Action as a reader's ride. This brings up an interesting question for you guys - How many have had a car, truck, or bike featured in a magazine article or as a cover car?

I've got a '66 Dodge Coronet 500 two-door hardtop that I've owned since 1980 - that's right, math whizzes, that's 34 years as of this April 1st! I am the second owner. I rebuilt the engine in the car in 1983, and painted the car in the Spring of 1985. Literally one day after I reassembled the car, it was off on a road trip with my former girlfriend to the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in St. Louis, MO. We were driving around the raceway looking for a place to park the Coronet, when a guy in a Car Craft polo shirt came up and asked if we had the time to participate in a cover shoot for a future CC issue. I took about a half-second to ponder this question and answered "Sure!". So, off we go to another guy, who directs me to where he wants the car placed. There I was, with about six other really sweet cars, in a group shot that ended up on the October 1985 cover of CC! I have that cover framed in my computer room.

Mine is also in a Reader's Rides section of the March 1986 edition of Chrysler Power, as well. That issue I do not have any longer, as it was lost in a tornado 11 years ago...

A minitruck I had in 94' was on the cover of Minitruckin, it was a body dropped 91' Toyota extra cab. Full air ride, super notched frame, chromed out engine bay, the works. When I got my wagon in 96' as a second car to drive, suddenly the mini just wasn't as much fun any more. I sold it in 2002 mostly in pieces. The wagon obsession completely took over at that point.
