Yup, it's the real wet stuff, perfect snow ball snow....you can pack it into a base ball. So imagine what the streets were like after some traffic.......

And of course in standard Victoria fashion, it froze so every fool with summer tires had to drive faster! I drove the wife to work and on the now frozen packed snow 1 SUV had to fly rite past me. we passed it a couple miles ahead, looked kinda like this:rofl2:

    [IMG]..can't fix stupid:disagree:

Now it's raining and a slush pit! Looking fore ward to the evening freeze when it will start all over again.

Big turn around, but we pay the price for it. Warm front moved in and it's almost 70 today, but tomorrow brings flash flooding with 4.5 inches of rain predicted. That probably means another blizzard for everyone north and east of us in a couple of days.

When I lived in N. IL. I always watched what the weather was in Nebraska because I knew it would be ours in 2-3 days.

Hope the weather does not get too bad. I'd like to see the sun come out at Tedy's and melt all the snow off the car windows.

Back where we are from in the land of Lincoln-------------- and Obama, they have 30 and freezing rain. :49:

I really hate to mention it considering many of you have been so nice. But our thermometer shows 86 and it's still sunny outside. Warmer here than Key West. ;) I suppose I could go out front and mow F U TEDY in the green grass.
Now why did I retire to Florida? :rofl2:[IMG]

    For the stove!?

A real Canukastan would be getting the propane for the BBQ...

And stocking up the Canadian fridge with provisions......

    :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

It wasn't our mega snow dump of 97 but 2001/2 we had a massive wind storm witch lost power.... then we got a couple feet of snow, then anther wind storm with more snow. In short, we were screwed all over again (we had no power for over a week)

My neighbor and I were standing in the snow having a beer, watching the rest of the street in panic mode, some homes sitting in there stranded cars with engine running for heat, Homes that have fire places but had no wood. BBQ's smell filled the air, people walking like zombies for the grocery store and the od 20lb propane tank for a fill up.

We BS's about.... Got heat, YUP, got food, YUP, got milk, YUP, got.......
....... Then we realized we were on our last beer!:49::49:. OK, now we had a situation that needed to be dealt with ASAP! We had is truck dug out and chains on faster than NASCAR..........

When we got back...... I don't really remember much about that week
   ;)
