After seeing that for sale thread about the poor '61 Ford 2-door wagon and the story behind it, I thought it might be cool to have a thread devoted to "well-used" wagons. That is, if you want to post a photo or story of a wagon that is (or has been) used and abused please post it here!

Here is the one from the eBay auction:

And to start off, I have seen this tired Chevy parked at WalMart for the past few weeks:

Is this a good idea for a thread?

Pete I think this is a great idea. Too bad my cameras and my computer are not performing together. I can take millions of photos but have no way to download, upload, or whatever. :camera: There are others here who seem to post pictures daily. Hopefully the worn out wagons in their neighborhood will get some recognition.
    Maybe a "People's wagons of Wal-Mart.":rofl2:

Here's something to ponder............... How many vehicles a year does the Wal-Mart co. have scrapped?

Oh, there's a real turd of a wagon at work - I wonder if I could get in trouble posting a fellow employee's wagon pic without their permission. My employer is very conservative in their approach to everything, including employee conduct.

Block out the license tag and blur or change the location some. Besides, we won't tell!:rofl2:It's like people doing things in public. They and the wagon are public domain. :yup:

Not a great picture but yeah it's my Fanny. She was parked under a tree by the last owner waiting for him to find the time to restore her. I'm not sure how long she was there but it was a couple of years. And now the poor thing is striped naked in my driveway still waiting...:(

A few pics of some of the decay...

Here is one I've been eyeing for a few years.
Despite its poor appearance,,it's really. Solid and complete
And I could have it for $ 300.
It's on a trailer , were it's been for years
So it's not all rusted out.
Still needs a lot of LOVE ,,,,,
and I just got into my 68 country sedan.....

Great photos! It seems that wagons, although they cost more than sedans new, were used more harshly and thus more 'clunkers' are out there.

    Here are two more photos.
    Another dilapidated Caprice:

And an over-used and forgotten '67 Poncho (location unknown):

Here's one I spotted in downtown Macon last week, she looks to be a current driver for someone.

I hope the garbage truck doesn't get to close to her on empty day!!

here is a tired old girl and she owes us NOTHING!! At 265K still serves us well. Bought (Special ordered) her new in 1996 and two weeks before my son was born we took her home. My wife drover her for the first 140K. Then I had her for 65K next came my Daughter 30K (bought her own rodie wagon to take to school). Now my son (driving a car we bought 2 weeks before he was born) has put 35K of his own miles and it is still running good.
