I hang out pretty regularly at Inliners International. Thanx for the comliment on keeping the six. I thought about swapping engines, but only considered a GM 292 L6. I've got some manidfolds to do a turbo GM 6.

What sucks is that I wanted to do the same 292 turbo 6. But at the time I was looking for an engine to replace the 307 all I could find was the olds 350 on ebay which I got for $400. Now it does run really well. BUT recently I went to a local junkyard and low and behold there was not one but two trucks with 292's in them. I would have to change way to much at this point in the game to switch.

I've got two chevy 235's, one is currently running and in a 58 Chevy Delray, the other is from a 58 panel van and is stuck. I also have a 3 on the tree syncromesh trans, if anyone's interested.
