    There was only one year that wagon was put together and my Dad was not even born by one year... while Norma Jean Baker celebrated her 9th birthday that year.

    One of my favorite top 10 wagons of all time.

    Maywood-Bell Ford, about 10 miles S/E of downtown L.A. was one of the areas most well-known Ford dealers in the 50's and early 60's. Named for the two local communities it serviced. Did a lot of newspaper, radio and TV advertising.

    I think it's pretty neet when a member knows where and what one of these old photos are from. KK, you by far have proven the best knowledge of the US west coast.

    Found some shots of Michigan Car dealers 1st Boylan Buick Kalamazoo MI 1964 even has an Opal Kadett Wagon on the lot.

    This showroom has an uncanny resemblance to the body shop I work at. Same window layout, location of the door, ceiling and lighting and even the wall on the right. I googled the dealer name and it's not even close to here but the body shop was originally the Nash dealership in Redwood City. Makes me wonder if Nash had some sort of company floorplan they required for their dealerships? Verrrrry interesting.
