    Or you could use the hitch to mount a rack and use a motor home generator!

    That would look funny!

    Dang.... is the glass half empty, or half full? Yeah it would charge the thing.... But would the thing all charged be able to tow it more than a mile between a charge?:huh: Good thing the above unit is gas powered to charge the energy saving clown car.

    Probably only there so he had a place to put the smiling tennis ball.

    Think about it. Moving from your ratty old apartment to a downtown loft with energy efficient windows and HVAC, parking garage with electric plugs, how are you gonna get your stuff there? 5x8 U-Haul Cargo Trailer, of course!

    But it's not a good idea unless you're already out of warranty. From AutoBlog, January 2012:

    "Since the Leaf isn't officially sanctioned for towing, any damage caused from this activity could cause Nissan to void the car's warranty; so it's probably not advisable to try dragging the Queen Mary to the lake. Besides, towing a heavy load would seriously degrade the vehicle's battery range. However, the torque delivered by the Leaf's electric motors makes it more than capable of light towing duties. Many Leaf owners are likely also to be users of kayaks, bikes, or other gear, and a trailer hitch provides a range of additional options for bringing outdoor toys to the outdoors."
