Hey guys, one of my old wagons is coming up for sale. I sold this to a good friend of mine about 4 years ago. All original 1976 Pontiac Safari, tan exterior, tan cloth interior. Power windows, locks, rear window and tailgate. Car is an 8 passenger with excellent cloth interior. Has tilt, Cruise, A/C(have to see if it still works) 4 years ago it was ice cold. 455/400 combo. 98.99% rust free and has all of its original paint. Has aftermarket wheels and brand new tires. I should buy it back but I am waiting for my Caprice Wagon to show up. I will get pictures sometime this week. I honestly do not remember how many miles it has but it has not turned over. Original Arkansas car and is CLEAN. he is wanting $6,000 obo
Me too I actually wanted a 74 poncho or olds but I am happy with my Buford! Hell it was 10 miles from my house!
cool... for a long time I wanted a 75-76 Grand Safari. I'm looking forward to your pics. on the other hand... the biggest station wagon ever made... having it shipped on a car hauler... I don't even want to think about how many different things could go wrong with that...
(Sorry Swanny, didn't mean to hi-jack your thread). lol, my '72 Kingswood Estate was about 8 miles from my house and the only clamshell I knew of within 500 miles. lol. You know the last clamshell I remember seeing in person over the past 25 years (other than my own) was a light green 1974 Grand Safari 3-seat wagon at a local cruise in. It was loaded to the maximum! There was not one option I think it was lacking (other than cornering lights)! It was a little way up the road from the rest of the cars and no one was around. I was hoping to talk to the owner to see if it may have been for sale, or leave my info with them incase they ever wanted to sell it. I am sure it would have been out of my price range though, as it was in excellent condition. Here is a pic of it, I was not a fan of the aftermarket wheels though. This was a couple of years ago, I have not seen it there since. Note the nice condition of the tailgate window weather stripping, I think its been garaged. Speaking of a nice one, here is a brand new '74 Grand Safari!
It is possible. I will have to do some checking later tonight when I get home. I took some pictures of it with a 75 Catalina Wagon I found for a friend. Otherwise if I get home early enough I will try and run out and get some pictures of it
