I hope that build thread stays up. This is very interesting. Where's Red Greene when the guy needs him?:rofl2:
I had to stop. The laughing was disturbing my wife and I need to get some rest. Tomorrow I may build something.

It's funny, no doubt. I will probably get flamed for this......But, someone should tell the poor guy and show him a book on constructing a simple shed. The guy is building a disaster and doesn't realize it. I wonder how he will feel towards the author of this after he DOES realize it's a disaster and that the author could have helped him and didn't. :2cents:

The poster of the original thread is a tenant of the guy building the shed. I think if the situation were reversed, wouldn't you want somebody to give you advice? I mean, virtually everything is wrong on this. At least, it's only a shed, not meant for habitation.

Yeah, you would think some one would have done/said some thing, anything! I can't see the thing standing with in a year, first good wind storm will rip it to pieces IMO.

A fast search and I came up with many pretty darn good "do it your self" shed info with plans, pics, great directions, etc. But you have to admit, some times, even with help and excellent instruction some people just can't build anything let alone hang a picture on the wall.

Part of my problem is that people do not want to pay me to do an outstanding job. They hire someone like that landlord. They get the quality provided.
It seems he has mastered a crappy paint job pretty well. It will probably last as long as the shed.
